Sunsari District Administration Office (DAO) has provided Rs 200,000 each to the six families who lost their family members to the flood a week ago in Sunsari.
Chief District Officer (CDO) Gopal Prasad Parajuli and a team lead by him met the families of the deceased and provided the relief amount that the government pledged earlier.
Altogether 12 people had lost their lives to flood-related incidents in various places in the district, the DAO, Sunsari.
Families of Asha Devi Rai, Chanda Tamang, Sunita Dhimal, Ishower Sunuwar, Manu Shrestha and Upendra Mandal received the aid.
The remaining six families would be provided the ex-gratia relief soon, according to CDO Parajuli. RSS
