Nawalparasi
Vehicular movement along the Nawalparasi-Daunne road section of the East-West highway which remained inoperative time and again due to road cave-ins has resumed on Thursday.
One-way traffic has resumed after repairing the caved-in road section from 3 am this morning.

With the resumption of one-way vehicular movement, vehicles stranded at Bardaghat and Dumkibas will be able to head towards their destination.
Traffic had been halted from Tuesday night to repair the collapsed road section and there are no obstructions in the operation of one-way traffic, informed District Police Office DSP Bishnu Hari Koirala.

Over a dozen places have been hit by landslide and road cave-ins along the 14 km stretch causing frequent traffic obstructions.
