The Election Commission has agreed to hold provincial and federal parliamentary elections at one go.
According to a source, the elections are likely to be held on the third week of November.
The election body agreed to conduct both the elections after holding a meeting with top leaders of the three major political parties at Baluwatar in the Capital on Thursday.
Decision regarding using one or two separate ballot papers in the elections has not been taken yet.
It is learnt that discussions were held on conducting the elections in one phase or two phases.
