A woman was crushed to death after a section of her house fell down following a flood at Rohini River in Rupandehi on Friday.
The victim has been identified as Gita Chamar, 28, of Tilauri, Mayadevi Rural Municipality-2. However, her seven-month-old son survived the disaster with injuries.
A section of the wall of Chamar’s house collapsed crushing her to death, informed District Police Office, Rupandehi DSP Bel Bahadur Pandey.
Likewise, the flood swollen river has inundated over a dozen houses in the area.
