Man arrested on human trafficking charge
A Nuwakot man has been arrested in a human trafficking case which took place in 2008. Man Bahadur Tamang of Ghyangfedi in Dupcheshwor-1 was arrested from his home on Monday for trafficking then 11-year-old female victim to India on a pretext of taking her to Kathmandu for a job, District Police Office said.bookmark

A Nuwakot man has been arrested in a human trafficking case which took place in 2008.
Man Bahadur Tamang of Ghyangfedi in Dupcheshwor-1 was arrested from his home on Monday for trafficking then 11-year-old female victim to India on a pretext of taking her to Kathmandu for a job, District Police Office said.
The victim, who was rescued at the initiative of International Justice Mission from India in 2010, had filed a police complaint against Tamang a month ago.
SP Dev Bahadur Bohara said a case has been filed at the court against Tamang under the Human Trafficking and Smuggling Act.
Police are also after Tamang’s wife Mendo, one Prem Tamang and two other suspects who are at large.
