An explosive went off behind the house of CPN (Maoist Centre) mayor candidate for Godawari Municipality, Kailali on Thursday night.
According to the police, unidentified persons set off the explosive behind the residence of CPN (MC) leader Gokarna Bhatta.
However, the explosion did not cause any damage, informed Chief District Officer Govinda Rijal.
