Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal (RJP-N) leader Rajendra Mahato is bereaved of his father.
Mahato’s centenarian father Khovari Mahato passed away on Monday morning, leader Mahato told the post.
He had been living at his elder son’s home in Ishwapur Municipality of Sarlahi district.
Leader Mahato, who was in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi district to take part in RJP-N’s agitation, said he was on his way to Sarlahi for the last rites of his father.
Khovari’s last rites would be performed at Karmaiyaghat after the RJP-N leader’s arrival, sources said.
In a press statement, RJP-N has expressed condolence to the bereaved family and wished for an eternal peace of the departed soul.
