Students clash in Lamjung campus, Sub-Inspector injured

DSP Samir Chandra Kharel informed that Sub-Inspector Homnath Adhikari of the Area Police Office, Sundar Bazaar, was injured while trying to contain the clash.
Adhikari is receiving treatment at the Karmada Hospital in the district.
Police said that four students affiliated to the NSU were injured in the incident.
They are undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
It has been learnt that he students affiliated to the NSU had allegedly manhandled campus chief and account.
DSP Kharel said that they are looking into the case.
The students aligned to ANNFSU on Sunday had padlocked the campus expressing dissatisfaction with the Free Students Union (FSU) election process.
The scuffle ensued when the students from both unions were holding dialogue to reopen the campus.
Security has been beefed up in the campus area to avert any untoward incident.
