Two excavators torched
A group of unidentified men torched two excavators at the Beni-Jomsom road upgradation site in Beni-9, Myagdi, on Sunday night.
MYAGDI: A group of unidentified men torched two excavators at the Beni-Jomsom road upgradation site in Beni-9, Myagdi, on Sunday night. Police said the vehicles were parked at Setipahiro. According to DSP Bishworaj Khadka, some local youths were being detained for inquiry. In another incident, police have detained two men on charge of vandalising three taxis parked outside the District Traffic Police Office. (PR)
Rs 95k donated for fire victims
TEHRATHUM: Mankumari Phombo, a Nepali based in Singapore, has donated Rs 95,000 for the resettlement of fire victims in Sankranti Bazaar, Tehrathum. Phombo, who hails from Sankranti-2, sent the money to her parents to help the fire victims. Phombo’s parents, Til Prasad and Gomadevi, handed over the money to Safal Portel, chief of the Area Administration Office, on Monday. Thirty-two houses
