TIA to remain shut during landing of Mukherjee's plane

Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, has issued Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) barring any inbound and outbound flights from using the airport for 45 minutes in view of the arrival of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.
The NOTAM has been issued from 12:10 pm to 12:55pm. Mukherjee is arriving here for a three-day state visit to Nepal starting Wednesday.
The only international airport will be closed down during the arrival of the Indian president which will delay all national and international flights to and from Tribhuvan International Airport by 45 minutes.
TIA Terminal Duty Officer informed that the NOTAM will be effective 20 minutes before landing and 25 minutes after landing to accommodate the arrival of the VVIP at the airport.
