Inaugurating the 8th General Convention of trade union of Janak Shiksha Samagri Kendra in the Capital on Sunday, former PM Oli remarked that the other parties feared their existence after his government started working for the people that led to the fall of his government.
"Conspiracies were hatched against the government under my leaders because the other parties feared that they would be limited to mere signboard if I was allowed to lead the government for another two years," he said. "My government would have survived, if I had made arbitrary agreements and compromises against the nation and nationalism. But I did not choose to do so," he said.
Oli opined that the government has the obligation to walk in the so-called ambitious strategies for next 20 years that his government had adopted. Budget has already been allocated for the East-West Highway, rail, Kathmandu-Tarai fast track, postal highway, irrigation, among many other projects; therefore, the current government faces challenges of their implementation, Oli said.
