Speaking in a programme organised by the party in Biratnagar on Monday, leader Yadav said, “If government does not addresses the demands raised by Madhesi, Janajati-Adivasi and discriminated sections of the society, they will take apart bricks of Singha Durbar one by one.”
Yadav made it clear that the agitation would continue until the state demarcation row is settled. “Morcha’s key bottom-line is revision of federal borders,” he said. “If three major political parties become ready to forge consensus on this issue, Morcha is ready for agreement.”
Yadav, who is spearheading the Madhes agitation, said that the talks with government will only succeed if the government brings a concrete proposal on the demands of agitating Samyukta Lokantrik Madhesi Morcha. He rued government’s indifference towards talks with the Morcha held for over dozen times.
Leader Yadav claimed that the constitution amendment bill tabled by government was a ploy to deceive Madhesis. He went on to warn that the country would witness a greater revolt if the ongoing Madhes agitation is not timely addressed.
