Former Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, who has recently been named as ‘Best Finance Minister’ globally by UK-based reputed The Banker Magazine, was honoured amid a programme in Hetauda, Makawanpur on Thursday.
Former Finance Minister Dr Ram Sharan Mahat, who has recently been named as ‘Best Finance Minister’ globally by UK-based reputed The Banker Magazine, was honoured amid a programme in Hetauda, Makawanpur on Thursday.
The Makawanpur Chamber of Commerce honoured Mahat, who also won the ‘Best finance minister’ award for Asia-Pacific region.
Mahat was selected for the award in recognition of his post-earthquake work in Nepal in 2015.
Speaking at the event, Dr Mahat, also Nepali Congress leader, said that the chamber of commerce and political parties should come together for economic prosperity of the country. RSS
