Quake-hit families get Rs 7,500 each to return home

The money was distributed with the support of an international social organisation to help the families retrun to their villages in northern Dhading, Bhola Gautam, the information officer for DDMC, said on Wednesday.
Currently, there are 708 families from Sertung, Tipling and Jharlang VDCs who currently living in temporary shelters in Dhading Besi,
the district headquarters. Though there were around 1,400 families living in temporary shelters, most of them returned home after the monsoon ended.
Gautam said they were also planning to distribute provisions lasting for at least one month to each family.
Nandalal Sharma of the District Administration Office said that they were identifying genuine quake victims to avoid duplication in relief distribution.
