The bus (Na 5 Kha 1307) heading to Mahendranagar from Kathmandu turned over on the road side after it lost control, informed acting DSP Dipak Basnet.
The seriously injured 16 passengers of the bus are receiving treatment at Kohalpur based Teaching Hospital, said DSP Basnet.
Rescue efforts are underway to rescue passengers who were crushed by the bus during the accident.
