Talking to media persons at Biratnagar airport this morning, he said the nomination of the remaining CA members would be finalized within a week.

On a different note, DPM Gautam said that he was confident that the seven-point agreement reached with the Nepali Congress would be enforced. Accordingly, the President and the Vice-president would be endorsed before the new constitution is promulgated, he added.

He also said the government was committed to promulgating a democratic constitution within the next six months and that it would be a document of consensus.

Stating that the promotion to additional inspector general of police or AIGP had been stalled due to court-related procedures, Mr Gautam, who also holds the Home Ministry portfolio, said the matter would be resolved soon as per Nepal Police regulations.
