Ncell has strengthened its commitment to digital inclusion by becoming the first mobile operator in Nepal to sign the GSMA's Principles for Driving the Digital Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities.
The GSMA (Global System for Mobile Communications Association) is a global non-profit organisation representing the interests of mobile network operators. I
ts principles serve as a strategic framework to guide telecom companies in bridging the mobile disability gap and advancing equitable digital access for all. By adopting these principles, Ncell has signalled its determination to ensure that mobile technology and digital services are accessible to everyone, regardless of physical ability.
The move adds to Ncell’s ongoing inclusion efforts. These include a 50 percent data discount under the Sadhain ON plan for persons with disabilities, accessible customer service centres, and fully disability-friendly office infrastructure.
