Ncell’s Bishakha Khadka wins ‘Best Woman Sustainability Leader’ award

Bishakha Lakshmi Khadka, head of Ncell’s Corporate Communications and CSR, has been honoured with the prestigious Women’s Tabloid Awards 2024 under the category of ‘Best Woman Sustainability Leader – Telecom’.
The award, presented by Women’s Tabloid, a UK-based publication, recognises her significant contributions to sustainability in the telecom industry.
The award highlights Khadka’s leadership in driving Ncell’s social initiatives, which have focused on health, education, the environment, and disaster response, Ncell said in a statement.
“This is our team Ncell’s consolidated efforts, and our impact-driven social efforts have been recognised in the international forum,” said Khadka. “With the launch of the Ncell Foundation, we are committed to continuing our journey of creating positive and lasting change in our communities via social initiatives, contributing to the socio-economic development, and supporting the government in achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
Ncell has implemented over 100 projects nationwide, impacting more than 13 million Nepalis, the company said.
