Shree Airlines on Tuesday added two Dash 8-Q400 aircraft to its fleet.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has allotted a registration number of 9N-AOK and 9N-AOL to the aircraft.
With this addition, Shree will have six Dash 8-Q400s, two Bombardier CRJ200 and two Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft in its fleet.
The 80-seater aircraft were flown from the US and landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday.
The airline said that the aircraft would be put into service after fulfilling the necessary process as required by the aviation regulator.
Nepal’s then-largest helicopter operator, Shree Airlines diversified into fixed-wing operations by acquiring three jets in 2016.
