Standard Chartered Bank Nepal reopens daycare facility for children of employees

Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited reopened its daycare facility for children of employees at the New Baneshwor corporate office building in Kathmandu on Wednesday.
The facility was inaugurated by chief guest Neelam Dhungana Timsina, acting governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank, along with Anirvan Ghosh Dastidar, CEO of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited.
The facility was originally launched in 2013 but was temporarily closed due to the pandemic.
The bank is one of the first in the country to launch such a facility to help working parents continue their professional journey. According to the press release issued by the bank, the cost of establishing and maintaining the daycare facility will be borne by the bank. (PR)
