Sipradi Trading, the distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, launched Tata Nexon EV Max on Wednesday. Nexon EV Max is the long-range version of the Tata Nexon EV, already available in the Nepali market. Nexon EV Max has a company-claimed range of 453 kilometres and is equipped with a 40.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery and 100 kW motor. 

It can produce up to 95 kW of power and 250 nm of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour under nine seconds. It is available with an optional 7.2 kW AC charger that can fully charge the car in 6.5 hours. 

However, the 50 kW DC fast charger can charge it from 0 to 80 percent in an hour. Nexon EV Max comes with 350 litres of boot space, 190 mm of ground clearance, a sunroof and two airbags. 

The company provides a warranty of eight years or 160,000 kilometres for the motor and battery, and three years and 125,000 kilometres for the other parts. 

The booking of Nexon EV Max started on Wednesday and the customer will get the delivery after a month. The price of Nexon EV Max starts at Rs4.649 million.
