Buddha Air expands fleet with new ATR-72 plane

Buddha Air welcomed their 15th plane, an ATR-72, into its fleet on Friday. The company will be starting flights with the new ATR within a month.
Conducting flights from big aircraft reduces the operation cost and fares will also come down automatically.
So, the company bought a 72 seater ATR. With this, Buddha Air now has 15 planes – 12 ATR-72 seater and 3 ATR-42 planes.
Rupesh Joshi, marketing director said that another new flight route will come online from June 15. There is a plan to add flights to Dhangadhi and Surkhet.
Currently, the company is operating two flights daily in Dhangadhi and Surkhet. The company also plans to provide flight service in Tumlingtar with the ATR-72. (PR)
