Ncell customers using iPhones can now benefit from access to Ncell Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) service from April 14. 

With the successful launch of VoLTE on Android earlier in 2022, Ncell has now made this service available on the iOS platform. 

The company said in a statement that customers upgrading to VoLTE service will receive 100 minutes of on-net VoLTE talk time valid for 28 days. Subscribers using iPhone 8 series and above are eligible for VoLTE upgrade. Eligible iPhone users can dial *17201# to activate VoLTE and get free talk time. Under this scheme, customers receive 2GB bonus data valid for 7 days for upgrading from physical SIM to eSIM free of charge. 

The bonus data is applicable to Ncell users who have purchased the device from Nepal’s authorised Apple outlets. 

Eligible iPhone users can dial *17125# for information on upgrading eSIM, or they can simply type their citizenship number, email ID and send an SMS to 17125.
