Awasthi appointed director general of FNCCI
The 9th executive committee meeting of the FNCCi held on Sunday appointed Awasthi to the post.

The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the country’s apex private sector body, has appointed Gokarna Awasthi as its director general. The 9th executive committee meeting of the FNCCi held on Sunday appointed Awasthi, the former chairman of the Society of Economic Journalists Nepal (SEJON). Awasthi had also served Kantipur Daily, the sister publication of the Post, as its business head and at the United Nations in Nepal as an Sustainable Development Goals adviser. Awasthi holds a master’s degree in management.
