Gokarna Awasthi, business editor at the Kantipur Daily, has bagged the Harihar Dev Pant Economic Journalist Award for his contribution in disseminating information regarding the country’s business and economic affairs.

On Thursday, Harihar Dev Pant Foundation honoured Awasthi amid a programme organised to mark the third death anniversary of the country’s pioneer in

microfinance sector.  Awasthi, has been working as an economic journalist for over two decades.
