The three-day Third International Tea Festival kicked off in Kathmandu on Friday.
Twenty-nine globally recognised tea traders from 13 countries, including India, China, Germany, Canada and the US, are taking part in the fair. The main aim of the exhibition is to show tea varieties produced in Nepal and to promote them in the international market. The exhibition includes a number of tea varieties, such as white, gold, pearl green, ruby, moonlight, sippy, morning glamour, supreme and green tea, produced in Nepal. Tea experts will also present papers during the tea festival. (PR)
