It is priced at Rs6,995 and comes with the usual bells and whistles such as 2.5D curved glass, dual sim support, 5 MP rear camera and 2 MP front camera.

The phone is powered by a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Users can also expand the memory using a microSD card up to 32GB. On the software front, the P50 Plus comes with Android 7.0 out of the box. With a 2,200 mAh removable battery, users can expect the phone to last an entire day of usage.

With 4G coverage becoming more widespread across the country, Colours Mobile is looking to target customers looking to buy a 4G enabled smartphone without breaking the bank. 4G is a mobile communications standard intended to replace 3G and is nearly 10 times faster than 3G. This allows people to surf the internet at blazing fast speeds instead of waiting for the page to load for what seems like an eternity. The Pride P50 Plus allows users to connect, share and communicate faster with the 4G feature, reads a press release.

According to Sanjay Agrawal, executive director of Teletalk Pvt Ltd, “Our market research showed that people wanted faster internet connection in mobile phones that was inexpensive. To satisfy our customers, we launched the new Pride P50 Plus that supports 4G at the lowest price possible.”

He further added, “Now, users do not need to spend on high end mobile phones to enjoy 4G. We want every pocket to carry a 4G phone. Hence we are launching the P50 Plus with the slogan—Goji Goji ma 4G.”
