The Oppo F5 Dashing Blue limited edition is part of Oppo’s penchant for releasing limited edition variants of its smartphones to commemorate festivals and events for its customers.
According to the company, the Oppo F5 will be decked out in blue, the colour which represents the purity of love. The rear panel of the handset will be reflective, giving off a mirror like effect when exposed to light.
In terms of specifications, the Oppo F5 Dashing Blue limited edition will remain the same as its other siblings. The F5 is the brand’s first FHD+ full screen display model in Nepal, featuring AI (artificial intelligence) beauty technology that is designed to beautify selfies.
Oppo F5 comes equipped with a 20MP front camera. The front shooter features a bright F2.0 aperture. The company claims that the front camera is able to produce images with less noise in low light conditions. The front-camera’s portrait mode also applies a bokeh effect to the background, creating a subtle background blur around the subject of the selfie, reads a press release. Oppo has equipped a 16MP camera on the rear with F1.8 aperture.
The F5 comes with Facial Unlock, the face recognition technology that will recognise its user and unlock the phone. Oppo has also added fingerprint unlock function if the user prefers to use the fingerprint reader.
Powering the Oppo F5 is an octa-core CPU with 4GB of RAM to handle smartphone operations from speedy surfing to continuous chats and eager gaming with ease and has an internal storage of 32GB. The Oppo F5 comes with a triple slot tray that supports two nano SIM cards plus one microSD card.
This allows users to expand the phone’s storage by up to 256GB. Talking about the software, users will be greeted with Colour OS 3.2-a brand new design interface based on Android 7.1.
Pricing for the Oppo F5 Dashing Blue limited edition has not been confirmed by the company but it is expected to be similar to the variants currently available in Nepal.
Samsung J2 4G edition launched in Nepal
Samsung Nepal has launched the Galaxy J2 4G edition, the latest entrant in the Galaxy J series family. Samsung is looking to further strengthen its portfolio of 4G smartphones in Nepal, allowing customers to have superfast internet connectivity and faster downloads.
The Galaxy J2 4G edition features premium features including a qHD Super AMOLED screen, powerful quad-core processor to deliver an unparalleled 4G smartphone experience, reads a press release.
According to the company, the 4.7-inch qHD Super AMOLED screen will provide customers with an immersive experience. Whether it be browsing through photos, watching videos or surfing the web at blazing fast 4G speeds, users will be able to do so in vibrant colours due to the Super AMOLED screen. The large screen display will bring life to content and enhance the viewing pleasure—resulting in an immersive experience.
Aside from the screen, the Galaxy J2 4G edition is equipped with sophisticated imaging capabilities. The 5 megapixel (MP) rear camera with a bright f2.2 aperture and LED flash will allow customers to take clear and sharp photos, even in low-light conditions. It also features a 2 MP front camera to provide great video calling and selfie experience.
The Galaxy J2 4G edition also sports advanced camera features such as quick camera launch and ‘Palm Selfie’ mode that automatically initiates a self-timer to take a photo when you show the camera lens the palm of your hands. Samsung claims that the Galaxy J2 4G edition is a great shooter that takes detailed photos.
To ensure that the Galaxy J2 4G edition is able to handle the rigours of daily tasks, it comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM for easy multi-tasking with ease and speed. All of these is housed in a svelte figure with soft rounded edges that ensures a comfortable grip.
The Galaxy J2 4G edition is now available in Nepal for Rs11,290. Customers can pick from two colour variants, Gold and Black.
