Pioneer Moto Corp, the authorised national dealer for Datsun vehicles in Nepal, announced on Tuesday the launch of Nepal’s ‘first urban cross car’, the Datsun redi-GO, at a starting price of Rs1.39 million.
The Datsun redi-GO aims to redefine the entry-level car segment with its unique offering that combines the roominess, best-in-class ground clearance and sheer fun of a crossover with the zippy driving and fuel efficiency of an affordable compact hatchback, the company said in a press release.
The Datsun redi-GO comes with five attractive body colour options—white, silver, grey, ruby and lime. It showcases a new Japanese design philosophy called YUKAN—which stands for brave and bold—and features ‘Tall-Boy’ styling with best-in-class ground clearance of 185 mm, extra roominess and excellent external visibility for the driver. According to the company, the new Datsun redi-GO comes with a ‘comprehensive safety package’, the Datsun PRO-SAFE7. The Datsun PRO-SAFE7 brings safety features like short braking distance, a high strength body shell to help absorb potential impacts, good visibility and a wider view of the road.
The car also has a superior suspension system, excellent maneuverability, high bolster support while cornering and energy absorbing steering wheel and driver airbag.
The Datsun redi-GO delivers a fuel economy of 25.17 kmpl. The Datsun redi-GO is available from 11 Datsun sales and service touch points in Nepal.
