Jagadamba rolls out five new TVS vehicles

The company launched the TVS Wego and TVS Dazz and TVS XL 100 in the scooter segment, the TVS Victor in the motorbike segment and the TVS King Auto in auto-rickshaw segment during the company’s three-day annual dealer meet held here on Friday.
The Wego is a 110cc four-stroke, air-cooled-single-cylinder scooter which churns out an 8Nm of torque at 5,500rpm. The fuel tank capacity of the scooter is five litres. The Wego is available in three variants of drum, disc and combi brakes.
The TVS XL is a 100cc load-moped with a single-cylinder four-stroke engine. Under simulated test conditions, the moped delivered a mileage of 67kmpl, according to the company. Its engine is mated to a single-speed gearbox and has a four litre fuel tank. It is available in five colour options—black, grey, green, blue and red.
The TVS Dazz is a 110cc scooter that can produce a torque of 8.7Nm at 5,500 rpm. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5.1 litres and comes with digital fuel injection system. The scooter is loaded with a maintenance free 3.5Ah battery, tubeless tyres and a mobile charger. It is available in the shade of white-blue.
The TVS Victor is a motorbike with a three-valve engine that provides a mileage of 76kmpl. It produces a maximum torque of 9.4Nm at 6,000 rpm. The fuel tank of the bike can hold 8 litres. The Victor features a telescopic oil damped front suspension and five-step adjustable hierodulic spring suspension at the rear. It is available at six different shades of blissful blue, generous grey, beatific black silver, serene silver, restful red and balanced black red.
The TVS King Auto is a 200cc auto-rickshaw powered by a four stroke single cylinder ISI engine that churns out a maximum power of 7.37bhp at 5,000 rpm. The auto-rickshaw comes with both electric and hand start options. It has a fuel tank capacity of 2.7 litres of petrol and 28 litres of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas).
“The conference was organised to communicate our strategies and plans for the upcoming fiscal and to find out issues faced by dealers,” said Shahil Agrawal, managing director of Jagadamba motors. “The unveiled vehicles have their own segments and we aim to gain a larger market share in each of the segments through them.”
According to Agrawal, the TVS Xl will create its own market as it is a completely new vehicle for Nepal.
“Moreover, the Dazz scooter has been designed for the high end segment. These products will add up to our market portfolio ensuring fair growth,” he added.
