Danish Crown Prince Frederick, who is on a four day Nepal visit,  has been meeting with  families affected by the April 25 earthquake.

Here are five interesting things about the  crown prince and his Danish Dynasty!

1. He was named Frederick after his maternal grandfather, King Frederick IX. In Denmark, the heir apparent has to be named either Frederick or Christian
2.  Prince Frederick and his brother Prince Joachim went to a regular school with normal children. 
3.  His mother, Queen Margrethe II, is currently the reigning monarch. She celebrated 40 years of her reign in 2012. 
4. The Danish Royal Family is quite popular in their country. Their approval ratings in Denmark, is anywhere between 82 per cent and 92 per cent. 
5.  The Danish Monarchy can be traced back more than 1000 years.
