Dhaibung Village ward no 7 of Rasuwa district has fallen into high risk of landslide triggered by incessant rainfall.
A huge cliff and mould near the village had suffered cracks in the recent earthquake and has now led to landslip. Debris from the landslide has covered the local bazaar and uprooted the power cable poles.
However, no human casualties have been reported so far. Around 100 households are in high risk of landslide. Similarly, the Pasang Lyahmu road is in high risk of being blocked.
With some road sections already blocked, pilgrims heading to Goshaikunda, a Hindu shrine where a grand religious fare is organized on every Janaipurnima (full moon day in the month of Shrawan).
