Three people died in a truck accident at Kapurkot of Salyan district on Monday.

The vehicle loaded with paddy and straw swerved off the road and plunged around 150 metres below.

The truck was heading to Sinabang from Dubedi in ward 6 of Kapurkot Rural Municipality.

Police identified the deceased as Gobardan Khadka, 14, Srijana Basnet, 13, and Anil Bhandari. Nine other people were injured.
