Driver killed in truck accident in Kalikot

A truck driver has died in an accident at Khallagad, in Tilagufa Municipality-5 of Kalikot district on Saturday.
According to Tek Bahadur Rawat, chief of district police office, the driver of Lu 1 Kha 3830 en route to Surkhet from Jumla fell approximately 50 metres down into the driver leading to the death of the driver on the Surkhet-Jumla road section of the Karnali Highway.
The identity of the driver is yet to be confirmed.
The Khallagad area of the Karnali Highway has a history of frequent accidents. Last month, two people lost their lives in a jeep accident at the same location, while another accident left 12 others injured.
