Incessant rain over the past few days caused landslides at Ramri area blocking the Tulsipur-Kalimati-Surkhet road section along the Rapti Highway. Similarly, another landslide at Tateli of Kalimati Rural Municipality-4 has blocked Madan Bhandari Highway since Friday morning.
Dozens of vehicles and passengers were stranded on the roads due to the disruption.

Several other rural road sections have also been blocked due to incessant rain, said Khatri.
