A man died when a jeep heading to Gamgadhi, headquarters of Mugu district, from Sorukot met with an accident at Soru rural municipality-6, Bonjahan on Wednesday morning.

According to Birendra Thapa, chief of Mugu district police, Narbahadur Bumi, the jeep driver, took his last at the accident site.

Bumi died when Ga 1 Ja 6467 jeep fell nearly 100 metres down the road, the vehicle was reportedly driven by a codriver at the time of the incident, he said.

The codriver of the jeep is at large, the police informed.
