A fire destroyed three houses at Pathikhola in ward 2 of Darma Rural Municipality in Salyan district, on Sunday.
According to the Area Police Office in Darma, a concrete building of an agriculture cooperative and two houses belonging to Yagya Bahadur Nepali and Binod BK were destroyed in the inferno.
The fire was apparently caused by an electrical short circuit. Police said their preliminary investigation shows property worth around Rs3.6 million in the incident.
