Two Nepal Army soldiers from Devidatta Company No 4 with severe burn injuries died while undergoing treatment at the Kirtipur Burn Hospital, Kathmandu, on Tuesday afternoon.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Harikrishna KC of the Dolpa District Police Office, the soldiers were injured while extinguishing a forest fire in Mastabhawani Community Forest in Thulibheri Municipality of the district on Monday.
Due to their critical injuries, they were airlifted to Kathmandu for further treatment and died in the course of treatment, said KC.
