Woman hacked to death

A 35-year-old woman was hacked to death at ward 3 of Kanakasundari Rural Municipality in Jumla district, on Friday.
According to the District Police in Jumla, Amrita Budha of Okharpata was hacked to death with an axe at around noon.
Security personnel reached the village and detained a mentally ill local who allegedly killed the victim. Further investigation is underway into the case, said police.
