A 28-year-old woman was found dead in a hotel room at Khalanga, the district headquarters of West Rukum, under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday. 

Police identified the deceased as Bhawana BK of ward 7 of Musikot Municipality. 

The body was found wrapped up in a quilt. Preliminary investigation shows that the room was booked by one Bikash KC of Tribeni Rural Municipality in the district. 

Detailed investigation is underway, said police.
