Four people were injured when a tiger attacked them at ward 3 of Chhatreshwari Rural Municipality in Salyan district on Monday.
According to Police Inspector Gopal Shrestha, the tiger attacked the victims when they went to inspect a poultry farm belonging to one Purna Raj BK.
The injured were rushed to the provincial hospital in Dang after primary treatment at the Salyan District Hospital.
A technical team from the Banke National Park has been asked to capture the tiger, which has been hiding in a nearby bush, said police.
Tigers are sighted occasionally in Salyan that borders the Banke National Park.
