Nepal reports 455 new Covid-19 cases
Two new deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. Number of active cases stands at 5,435.Post Report
Nepal on Sunday reported 305 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours taking the nationwide infection tally to 993,032.
Similarly, 150 people tested positive in a total of 2,521 antigen tests, according to the Health Ministry.
As of Sunday, 5,853,473 PCR and 1,316,979 antigen tests have been carried out across the country.
A total of 2,308 PCR tests were performed in the past 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry.
The country reported two Covid-19 related deaths in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry. The countrywide death toll has reached 11,988 since the pandemic began.
According to the ministry, 975,609 infected people have recovered from the disease so far; 302 of them in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases stands at 5,435.
In the past 24 hours, 20 new infections were reported in Province 1, eight in Madhes Province, 216 in Bagmati, 39 in Gandaki, 16 in Lumbini, one in Karnali and five in Sudurpaschim.
Nepal on Saturday reported 162 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths. Similarly, 419 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and three deaths were reported on Friday and 465 new PCR confirmed coronavirus cases and two deaths were recorded on Thursday.
