A novel titled ‘The Stardust In Us’ was launched on Saturday amid a function organised by St Xavier’s College, Maitighar. The book is the second novel authored by Anish Ghimire, a 22-year-old writer based in Kathmandu. His first fiction, ‘A Walk Away From Home’, was published in 2019.
Indigo Ink published ‘The Stardust In Us’ and was officially launched by the principal of St Xavier’s College, Father Dr Augustine Thomas SJ. The chief guest was Professor Abhi Subedi, and other guests included Professor Rajan Prasad Pokhrel and Indra Karki, the former dean of Patan Multiple Campus.

The book is a romance novel. The story revolves around two characters, Apurva and Tejashwi. Their fates are bound to intertwine as both share a love for art, museums and poems.
Nischal Shakya and Sammya Shakya, students from the college, started the line of performances with a soulful cover ‘Najeek’ by Batika Eam Rai. Father Thomas expressed his gratitude to the audience for being there for the launch. Insightful speeches were given by the guests Subedi and Pokhrel. They highlighted the power of expressing oneself through literature and congratulated Ghimire on his second novel. Ghimire also spoke about the writing process and thanked everyone for their support.
