Post Report
Siddhartha Art Gallery is set to launch ‘Amalgam’, a group exhibition showcasing works by 61 artists from diverse backgrounds. The exhibit will open on Sunday, June 8, and run for a month at the gallery’s premises in Baber Mahal Revisited.
Bhawani Rana, past president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and Honorary Consul of Tunisia, will open the exhibition.
Artists such as Shashi Bikram Shah, Asha Dangol, Rajani Sinkhwal, Denish Rai, and many others are among the participants.
“This is an opportunity for artists coming from manifold fields to showcase their works. It aims to provide a platform for both established and emerging voices in Nepal’s art scene,” says Sangeeta Thapa, founder and director of the gallery.
According to Thapa, the title ‘Amalgam’ is a shortened form of ‘amalgamation’, reflecting the exhibition’s essence.
