On Friday, Hyatt Regency Kathmandu celebrated its annual Cake-Mixing Ceremony. The event featured a 24-foot-wide cake-mixing table. The hotel welcomed distinguished guests, ambassadors, influencers, bloggers, and prominent personalities from the city.
The Cake-Mixing Ceremony, symbolising togetherness, marks the beginning of the Christmas season and embodies the custom of mixing dry fruits, nuts, and spices in preparation for Christmas.
The event also featured dishes prepared by Executive Chef Suvendu Roy and his team, showcasing foods from the hotel’s restaurants: The Living Room, Rox, and Sesame Restaurant.
“We are thrilled to bring everyone together for this tradition. The holiday season is all about togetherness and celebration, and this year, we wanted to take it a step further by creating an immersive experience with a large cake-mixing table,” said Ashish Kumar, general manager of Hyatt Regency Kathmandu.
