Some places in the Tarai are likely to see fog during the day on Monday, while hilly and Himalayan regions, including Sudurpaschim Province, are expected to remain generally cloudy, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The weather will remain mostly fair in the rest of the country. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces.

At night, fog is likely at a few places in the Tarai. Hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki and Karnali provinces will remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions.

Light rain or snowfall is possible at one or two places in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, the division said.
