Fog is likely to affect some parts of the Tarai during the day and night on Monday, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said the Himalayan region will remain generally cloudy, while the rest of the country will see partly cloudy conditions during the day. There is a chance of light snowfall or rain at one or two places in the Himalayan region.

At night, fog is expected at a few locations in the Tarai. The Himalayan region will continue to remain generally cloudy, with partly cloudy skies elsewhere. Light snowfall or rain is likely at one or two places in the Himalayan region of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, the division said.
