The Meteorological Forecasting Division said fog will persist in parts of the Tarai on Saturday, with partial cloud cover across several provinces and a chance of light snowfall in high-altitude areas.

Fog is expected in many places across the Tarai during the afternoon. Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces are likely to see partly cloudy conditions, while the rest of the country will remain mainly fair.

The division said there is a possibility of light snowfall or rainfall at one or two places in the high hill and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

At night, fog will continue in a few Tarai locations. Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces will remain partly cloudy, while weather elsewhere will stay mainly clear, the Meteorological Forecasting Division said.
