According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are likely to remain generally cloudy during the day, while hilly areas of other provinces will see partly cloudy skies.

Some places in Sudurpaschim and a few places in Karnali may receive moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. Light snowfall is possible at a few locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim.

At night, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy, with partly cloudy conditions elsewhere.

Some places in Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, and a few places in Gandaki, may receive moderate rain with thunder and lightning. Moderate snowfall or rain is likely at a few locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, and at one or two places in Bagmati. Light snowfall or rain is possible at one or two locations in the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi.

There is also a possibility of hail accompanied by thunder and lightning at one or two places in Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim, the division said.
