Parts of the Tarai are likely to witness fog during the day and night over the next 24 hours, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

The division said some places in the Tarai may experience fog or mist this afternoon, while high hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces are expected to see partly cloudy skies. The rest of the country will remain mainly fair.

At night, fog is likely to persist in some parts of the Tarai. Partly cloudy conditions are forecast for the high hilly and Himalayan regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces, while weather elsewhere will remain mostly clear.

The division said Nepal is currently under the partial influence of westerly winds.
